1. Diana’s Pools

The mysterious Diana’s pools also known as Embizeni because of the pot-like shaped pools that never dry up. This location is also endowed with the geological marvel of orbicular granite rock that is so rare it is only found in a few countries. It is located west southwest of Esigodini Central Business District 38km away.

2. Lumene falls

Explore the amazing Lumene Falls surrounded by balancing rocks and beautiful vegetation the waterfall is stunning to behold. It is perfect for pick nicks, camping, and memorable photographs. It’s located southwest of Esigodini's central business district 42 km away.

3. Matshatshatsha falls

As the name suggests, the cascading water of Matshatshatsha Falls can be heard rumbling from a distance. This amazing waterfall set in a wonderful landscape can be best described as paradise and it's a must-visit. It is located west of Esigodini central business district 82km away. An alternative route is 8km away from Bulawayo along old Gwanda road.

4. Rhodes Indaba Site And Fort Umlugulu

Umzingwane has many historical places that were declared World Heritage sites by UNESCO. these include the Rhodes Indaba site where terms for the surrender of the Ndebele to the British were discussed & Fort Umlugulu is the grave site for Rhodes’ soldiers who died in battle with the Ndebele.

5. Caves, Cave Paintings and Granaries

The hills and mountains in Umzingwane have amazing caves. these caves were used as shelter by the San and Koi Koi who left wonderful cave paintings that chronicled their day-to-day life. Our ancestors also constructed clay granaries as a store for food in the caves.

6. Kumbudzi Ruins

The Kumbudzi Ruins is built like the great Zimbabwe using balancing rocks and is a site that is full of intrigue and can fascinate history enthusiasts and archeologists.

7. TRADITIONAL DANCE, SPORTS, ART AND CRAFT

The hilly terrain offers venues for sports such as mountain biking. There are also artist and traditional dance group opportunities. These activities help the youth and women to be part of the tourism sector.
